A.A. degree        Faulkner University

B.S. degree        Auburn University at Montgomery

M.S. degree        Troy State University

I have been at wonderful Robinson Springs School, now Airport Road Intermediate School, for eighteen years.  I love it here, and we have such a beautiful school!

I went to Faulkner University, AUM, and Troy State University.  I have a master's degree in elementary education, and have been teaching for twenty-six years in Florida and Alabama.

How fortunate I was to be able to stay home with my two boys, David and Cary, for several years.  David, my older son, works with computers and lives in Nevada.  Cary preaches for the Weslaco Church of Christ in Weslaco, Texas.  My adopted children, Daniel and Lydia, are from Ghana, Africa.  Lydia is working for her R. N. degree at Jefferson State University and Daniel is in Stanhope Elmore High School.  My children have been such joy in my life.

I also have a ragdoll cat who thinks she is my puppy as she follows me around, wags her tail when she is happy, and sleeps on her back.

My home church is Panama St. Church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama.  I love my second family there and invite you to join us anytime!  We love to study the Bible and sing and pray and enjoy each other.

I have a western theme in my classroom where you will find a deer skull, cactus, and cowboy hats.  Sometimes we will sing Happy Trails to You at the end of the day.   Occasionally the whole class will dress like cowboys and cowgirls.

I love teaching, and I love third graders, a great combination for me!

Happy trails to you!
